Victor Mesa

OneRedmond Board Member - General Manager, UniSea

Victor Mesa, originally from Chicago, IL, has now established his career in Redmond. Prior to settling in the region, Victor served in the US Navy, stationed at Pearl Harbor, HI, and later in Bremerton, WA. Currently serving as the General Manager at UniSea Cold Storage, Victor is responsible for developing both short and long-term strategic plans aimed at expanding the customer base and revenue for their cold storage and custom seafood processing operations.

Before joining UniSea, Victor held the esteemed position of Marketing Company President at U-Haul, where he successfully managed 9 U-Haul facilities and 60 affiliates across the Southern Nevada and Western Arizona districts. During his tenure, Victor spearheaded numerous sustainability projects, earning him two Dean Ross Awards for his exceptional leadership and outstanding performance in profit margin rankings. His achievements were further acknowledged through featured appearances in four U-Haul magazine articles.

Victor holds a Bachelor’s degree in Sociology from the University of Washington and an MBA from the Foster School of Business. Apart from his professional and academic endeavors, Victor finds immense joy in various activities such as martial arts, boxing, jogging on outdoor trails, hiking, swimming, and traveling. Additionally, he takes pleasure in exploring local independent coffee shops, relishing the experience of a finely crafted cappuccino.
