Matt Larson

OneRedmond Board Member - Local Government Affairs and Public Policy Manager at Puget Sound Energy

Matt Larson recently joined PSE after years of serving the public, most recently as the Mayor of Snoqualmie (2006-21). He also served the City of Snoqualmie as a city councilmember and planning commissioner. Over the years, Matt had numerous opportunities to work on many regional issues with the current and two former Redmond mayors. He considers Redmond to be an extraordinary community that punches way above its weight class regionally, nationally and internationally. He is humbled and honored to have an opportunity to contribute to the great work of OneRedmond.

Born in Minneapolis and as an “Air Force Brat,” Matt grew up in a large family of six kids moving and traveling throughout the U.S. and abroad. He lived in places such as, New Mexico, Guam, New Hampshire, and Northern and Southern California. Matt and his wife, Jennifer, met in college and have raised their four (now adult) children in Snoqualmie for the past 23 years.
