AdaSocial Cafe has quickly grown into a community gathering place at Bella Bottega. The café reports hosting 114 events and welcoming more than 2,000 people, including 60 free or community-hosted gatherings, while giving musicians, poets and performers a first public stage and opening its space to local organizations for programs and events.

Centro Cultural Mexicano creates some of Redmond’s largest cultural experiences while building connections across cultures and communities. Its 2026 Cinco de Mayo celebration drew approximately 9,000–10,000 attendees, alongside Independence Day and Día de Muertos celebrations and World Cup activities that created additional opportunities for the community to gather and celebrate.

Conundroom Escape Rooms creates immersive experiences that encourage people to play, explore and experience Redmond in new ways. In 2025, it partnered with Experience Redmond on a free Downtown Redmond Puzzle Hunt featuring more than 30 locations and approximately 1,000 participants exploring downtown landmarks, public art and different parts of the city.

Woodblock Redmond has extended its role as a downtown restaurant into an active community gathering place. Since 2023, Woodblock and sister restaurant Spark Pizza have raised more than $27,000 for local and Eastside nonprofits, provided hundreds of free meals to neighbors experiencing food insecurity and regularly opened their spaces for nonprofit events, civic conversations and community gatherings.

AIM Intelligent Machines develops autonomous technology from its Redmond headquarters that enables heavy equipment such as excavators and bulldozers to operate with less direct human control. Significant recent investment and growing commercial and government use are advancing its physical AI platform and helping position Redmond at the forefront of autonomous heavy-equipment technology.

Just–Evotec Biologics develops and manufactures biologic medicines in Redmond using advanced continuous-manufacturing technology. Its recent expansion added more than 2,400 square meters of development and manufacturing capacity, expanding its ability to advance new approaches to biologics production and strengthening Redmond’s role in advanced biopharmaceutical innovation.

Lumotive develops semiconductor technology in Redmond that electronically directs light without moving parts, enabling more compact and responsive 3D sensing for applications including robotics and autonomous systems. In 2026, the company announced what it describes as the world’s first programmable 2D photonic beamforming semiconductor as it continues to commercialize its technology.

Rocketdyne develops and builds spacecraft propulsion systems in Redmond, continuing a local legacy of space innovation dating to 1968. Its Redmond-built thrusters have supported major space exploration programs, while the company continues advancing propulsion technology and investing in its Redmond manufacturing operations.

Eastside Little Learners Spectrum Academy has served Redmond families since 2009, providing childcare and education from toddler and preschool through elementary school. It continues to support families receiving state childcare assistance while investing in its educators, with approximately half of its staff serving the school for more than 10 years.

Kindering serves more than 500 Redmond children each year through developmental, therapeutic and family-support services. Its expanded KidsClinic therapies at Together Center help children continue receiving services after aging out of the state’s birth-to-three system, alongside specialized services for children with communication needs and basic-needs support for families.

Lake Washington Schools Foundation helps Redmond students thrive by addressing barriers to learning and well-being. From its Redmond-based Pantry Packs warehouse, the Foundation distributed 72,717 weekend food packs over the past two school years and has also supported Redmond students through literacy programs, meal assistance and expanded mental-health support.

Quadrant Technologies invests in Redmond’s workforce and the next generation of technology talent. Its annual internship program provides 80–100 students and recent graduates each year with hands-on exposure to cloud, data, AI and other technology careers, while its Redmond headquarters also hosts robotics, technology education and youth-development programs.

Bellwether Housing is advancing Prisma in Overlake through a community-centered development process. Extensive engagement with residents and community organizations directly influenced the project’s design, including gathering areas, community rooms, culturally responsive features and space for nonprofit services. Prisma broke ground in February 2026, marking a major milestone in the community-informed project.

MainStreet Property Group completed The Spoke in Marymoor Village in late 2024, adding 211 homes, including 21 affordable units, and 14,000 square feet of commercial space. Located two blocks from light rail, the LEED Platinum development supports Redmond’s growth with new housing, commercial activity, walkability and transit-oriented development.

Microsoft Corporation reached a major milestone in its multiyear Redmond campus modernization as significant portions of the new campus moved into use. Encompassing approximately 3 million square feet across 17 new buildings, the project represents a major reinvestment in Microsoft’s longtime headquarters and continued commitment to Redmond as a center for its workforce and operations.

Nelson Legacy Group is a family-owned company with nearly 75 years of history investing in Redmond. In 2025, it completed The Charles, adding 246 apartments adjacent to Redmond Center and advancing its long-term work to redevelop and add housing density to its properties while strengthening the surrounding downtown area.

Hopelink connects Redmond residents with food, financial assistance, rental support, transportation and other services that help individuals and families achieve greater stability. During FY2026, its Redmond Center served 4,731 people and provided the equivalent of more than 952,000 meals, while a new DART base on Willows Road expanded its local transportation presence.

Move Redmond helps people connect with Redmond’s expanding walking, biking and transit network. It produced the May 2025 Downtown Redmond Station opening celebration, bringing together 67 local vendors and more than 30,000 attendees, and has distributed more than 10,000 station-access maps in five languages to residents and employees.

Sound Transit brought light rail into the heart of Redmond with the May 2025 opening of the Downtown Redmond Link Extension and new Marymoor Village and Downtown Redmond stations. Building on earlier service to Overlake, the extension created a major regional connection to downtown, Marymoor Park, housing, businesses and employment.

Together Center connects people with services, organizations, housing and community space through its Redmond campus. In 2025, 30 nonprofit organizations saved more than $250,000 in office rent, its Conference Center welcomed 12,549 attendees at 589 events, and demand for Resource Navigation grew 200%, with 65% of those assisted coming from Redmond.
