Kristina is a hands-on leader, so she spends most of her time out in the community meeting with some amazing, world-changing local companies. She says, “Because of our talent base, Redmond is a magnet for innovative and globally-significant companies.” Kristina artfully connects these people and companies with the right resources at the right time, and in the past five years she’s helped create over 5,000 jobs and over $400 million in economic impact through her tireless work.
Kristina also helms the Washington Interactive Network, which she founded in 2005. As executive director of WIN, she’s helped make the region a global center for interactive media development and intellectual property creation. Crowned “Queen of Interactive Media” from the Puget Sound Business Journal, Hudson works tirelessly to promote the local industry because she wants to “let the world know that we have a larger concentration of game development than anywhere in the U.S.” Much of Kristina’s personal time is spent wrangling kids and discovering new adventures and activities for her family to enjoy.
