Kathleen Miller

Marketing and Communications

Kathleen Miller is a proud UW grad of both the Foster School of Business and Department of Communication where she is a member of the Alumni Hall of Fame in recognition of her work as an alumni volunteer mentoring students and creating professional development programs. Since leaving GE Capital, she has written for publications including the Puget Sound Business Journal, the Seattle Times and Seattle Magazine. She is also the owner of Blue Emu Communications, based in Sammamish. She provides marketing and communications support to small businesses, corporations and nonprofits and her clients have included Microsoft, HopeLink, Issaquah Bank and the University of Washington Tacoma. She is delighted to support the work of the OneRedmond and OneEastside SPARK teams in the year ahead.
