Over 200 attendees attended OneRedmond’s 2nd Annual Eastside Economic Outlook Summit at the Microsoft Visitors Center to learn what lies ahead, join the conversation, and connect with other regional leaders. To view a copy of the 2020 Eastside Outlook presented by Chris Mefford, President of Community Attributes click here.

This year’s Summit also featured an Eastside Outlook Fireside Chat focused on the key issues facing the region including housing, transportation, workforce and education. The discussion was moderated by Emily Parkhurst, Puget Sound Business Journal, and our distinguished panel of Eastside leaders including Amy Carlson, Jacobs Engineering; Chris Mefford, Community Attributes; Robert Pantley, Natural & Built Environments; and Dr. Jerry Weber, Bellevue College.

For those interested in the Summit recap you may want to also view the recent 425 Business cover story about OneRedmond’s Executive Director Kristina Hudson entitled “A Uniting Voice.”  Collaboration was a clear theme at this year’s Summit and as Kristina notes her the article, “Affordable housing, transportation, and education are three immediate problem areas that need to be addressed by the Eastside, and we need to be doing that with a united voice.” Click here to view a PDF of the story.
